Hope all is well and you haven't missed me too much! (HAH) Also, in case you haven't notice I revamped my About Me page - go and take a look! :) Leave comments and also links for me to read your blog!!

Anyway, it's getting colder, darker, wetter....blah, that doesn't sound good does it! But as the dark gloomy days approach, I thought I' do a post on my they are my favourite, yes, as much as I love summer, autumn and winter are still my favourite. :) Here's why:

<3

The Rain

I love the rain - both when I'm indoors and when I'm outside. I find comfort in the sound of the rain and love falling asleep to it!

Clothes

So clothes wise, I wear what I want whenever I want regardless of the season - I'm not kidding, I haven't even put my Birkenstocks away yet!! Also, layering means you can wear summer clothes in the winter! However, winter clothes are still my all time favourite - boots, jumpers, coats, scarfs, hoodies...so comfy!! I love winter colours too. :)

Food

Often when we go out to eat they have a 'winter warmers' menu with foods such as soups...yummy!

Atmosphere/Holidays

This is the time of year for fireworks, drinking hot chocolate and curling up on the sofa watching films. It's the time of year where people get together to either celebrate or for the holiday season and this makes me smile.  I love the festive atmosphere and when people come together!

Also, this time of year seems perfect to have Lord of the Rings marathons!!

Have I sold it to you yet??

Here are a few snaps I've taken recently from my day out with an awesome lovely lady :) :)

Right, look up - arms out!

The first photo is by far my favourite as I love the way the flowers are all in the middle and the way it's composed. These were all taken with my brand new camera which I do plan to do a blog post on once I use it a bit more! :)

What have you been up to recently?

Hello hello!

Hope you are all well looking forward to the holidays! Just a really quick post to say that - as you may have already noticed - my blog has had a makeover! Woooooooooop!! And it's great timing because it's my Blogiversary next week :) how awesome is that!

This lovely design was done by the amazing Noor - she really is lovely and patient and really helpful as well as open minded! I'd defiantly recommend her services if anyone wants to refresh their blog.

What do you guys think?

• Seeing my friend! She waited for me at the train station so when I first caught sight of her I was still on the train! She was there waiting patiently for me.
• The view from the Sabrina bridge! The view is beautiful! Take a look for yourself!

• Had a small tour of some parts in Worcester and even a tour of one of the university campuses

• Had lunch which my lovely friend cooked herself!

• The Hive! We visited the library and let me tell you something, it was awesome! They had these amazing twisty chairs which had a cushion thing attached that was also a desk – please excuse my describing skills, they seem to have disappeared. I like libraries.

Conveyor belts!!

• Had a small tour of some parts in Worcester and even a tour of one of the university campus.

•  We also went round a few shops and saw some amazing vintage clothes, chocolates and gifts!

• I wasn’t there for as long as I’d like to have been! I would have liked to have been there for the whole day but I couldn’t.

Hello! Just a quick post to say "I'm back!" - Well, I didn't actually go anywhere, but I've been having a break from blogging - aka being lazy.

I've been practising henna for a very long time, and slowly but surely, my skills are improving! This weekend we had a family wedding and I did the bridal henna! Take a look at this!

Note to self, don't sit in the quiet study area when you have a runny nose.

Starting the year off with a cold is not something I recommend, especially if its the first week back to uni, because personally, in that week, I cram all the work I should have done in the holidays! I know, I know, it's not good, but in the holidays, somehow, the time quite literally flies away! One day it's the first day, and then bam! It's all finished.

I did have a good break tho, well, the week I was away was amazing! Got to see family and the fireworks for new year! With a pretty impressive view :-) ....in the picture, excuse the tall man that was standing in front of us....

The rest of the time I was either thinking about going to London and how great it would be, or wishing I was back there and how much fun I had! So yep, to sum it all up, it was great. But I didn't do the work I should have! So this is the week where I cram, mega style. I don't think it's incredibly healthy, but never mind.

So London! I visited family, walked around central London and Oxford street, and this time after the fireworks finished, it only took us two hours to get home! Last year it took us four hours! FOUR hours! We walked loads that day, and I clearly remember towards the end, we sat at a bus stop, waiting for the bus, and one pulled up, but it was full. Not sure why it stopped, but it did. We were very clearly told that there was no room on that bus, and we would have to wait for another one. Right, we all sat back down on the bench, waiting for the next one. "Who's back for next year then?" My cousin asked, there were five of us altogether, (add two adults). Three said 'not me', and one said 'maybe, it depends'. I said 'yes!' We walked loads and we saw loads! What's bad about that? Instead, got four weird looks! And then the bus came, finally!

But this year, only one person from last year was missing, and again, at the bus stop, we reminisced about last year, and how most of us vowed we'd never do this again! But there we were, waiting for the bus! Weird huh!

We spent time with lovely people, and we knew what we were doing this time, what route to take, it's safe to say we were a tiny bit more prepared than last year! (Serious lack of planning last year, but good spontaneous decisions were made, I have to say).

And here I am, thinking of London and the fun I had instead of doing the long awaited and much needed uni revision and work. Back to it I guess!

Final note to self, when you run out of tissues, it's probably a wise time to leave.
